E.D. Pons and Associates provided the structural analysis for the bridge along Woodbridge Drive in Saw Creek Estates, Bushkill, PA. The existing bridge is a single 64’ clear span with concrete abutments at each end. The construction date was unknown and it had been arbitrarily posted with a 10 ton limit.
The existing bridge was inspected in accordance with the applicable PennDOT standards. Utilizing the information from our survey an analysis was performed using PennDOT software to determine the bridge inventory and operating ratings. This information was then included in a report prepared in accordance with PennDOT standards. Within the report each of the bridges structural elements was given a safety rating to be used as a reference in future reports. A maintenance schedule was developed for use by the owner to maintain the continued integrity of the structure.
